Be Jesus Like Gospel Preacher

Bangladesh is a multi-cultural different religious country. We have a Major in Muslim than Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, and Other different ethnic tribes with different deities. As my few years of mission experience in the gospel preaching and discussing with many well-experienced evangelists (working in the different tribes) I have come to know that it is very hard to make them understand the real meaning or the value of the blood of Jesus Christ. Also from the above study, we understand how Satan uses Creator God’s word to make most of the human race his follower. 

From my personal observation and experience, it is also clear to me that an unbeliever of Jesus even doesn’t understand what we are talking about if we tell the value of the blood of Jesus. After a long observation, it became clear to me that most of the time they don’t understand our gospel presentation as it is not comparing with them. Not only is it in language but also for the misleading faith of them. When we are giving anyone first time the gospel we really give or teach the value of blood in biblical terms, which most of the time became ununderstandable to them. It became to them a hard food for children. Moreover, if they have their good religious education that it became harder for them to understand the gospel as our presentation.

But as for my experience first, they need infant teaching such as rather than telling what the value of the blood is, we should tell who Jesus is through their faith. After that in the next step, if we tell the value of the blood to them then they realize what it really means.

Only in this way it found that they do not criticize or talking too much against the teaching of the bible rather saying ‘oh I see that is your faith’. Whereas the people accept or not, that will come from God, but our job as the gospel seller is to make them clear so that they can understand the true value of the blood of Jesus!

For this I went in-depth to find out why they cannot be clear with our presentation when we talking to them. From my practical experience, I have found it happened because that we gave direct references from the bible from the first talking that they do not believe. For example, when I gave the gospel to a Muslim some said, how is it possible that our sin will be carried by Jesus. It is not fair to give my sin to another person. Allah is not that much unjust because in their belief they count Christ as human. So it is very hard to make them understand the gospel in ours way. 

Even when I talked with Hindu or Buddhist, they say we accept him as a good teacher or one of our deity but as our Bhagaban said that we can clean our sins through good work. Sometimes I found they did not utter any word as they respect me as I am older than them, but later I found they really did not understand what I talked to them. It was not clear to them means it made no sense to them. 

As has been studying day by day I realized that Satan really has made them blind through their heretic teaching that they cannot understand us but they feel that we are giving them the wrong information. The real issue in the heretic teaching what is looking like the same issue but totally explain in the wrong or different way, such as for us Jesus will come to take His bride but for the believers of Islam, it is Jesus will come as the follower of Mohammad. Thus, Satan confused all Muslim communities with the Jesus faith. Also to others, Jesus is the good teacher or one of their deities.

To solve this critical problem for this I will try to find out how can we teach them or make sense to them about salvation through Jesus Christ. And also try to find out through the teaching method of Jesus as He is the best teacher of all. From His teaching I identify three pictures of His teaching.

Firstly, if He wishes to give any massage not ‘let to understand the Jews community’ He gave a mysterious example of divine knowledge based example. Such as He said, ‘I will destroy the temple and within three days I will rebuild it’. It was a very highly thought teaching that Jesus did not wish them to be clear what He was talking about.

Second type of teaching is, Jesus gave knowledge through parabolas or example. It is to make the general people understand as their mental capacity. Such as, ‘You are like the light’ or ‘You are like the salt’. Even He said, ‘See the birds or the flowers’. Those were all the messages given through the mental capacity of the listeners.

And the Third type of teaching was after 40 days fasting when He had a trial with Satan. At that time both of them gave all references from Scripture. Such as, when Satan had said to Jesus that, ‘Jump from the top as written in scripture that the Angels will come and carry you’. Jesus replied, ‘It is also written that do not test your father God’. Why both of them use the scripture. As both of them know the kingdom of God and both know the scripture. So they can communicate in a high-ranking way.

From these three types of teaching, I consider the second type of teaching to present the gospel to the unreached. For this, we have to understand our audiences’ mental capacity, faith and understanding. It is very hard because it is not just going and telling them about the blood of Jesus. It will become most of the time valueless as they do not understand what really we wish to make them know. But before this, we have to be studied first their culture, teaching, faith and understanding, then present them the true value of Jesus as they mantle capacity. 

To make it more clear, I will give some examples next time that were very fruitful in my case study.

 

 

  

Who is Jesus the Messiah?

The Son God, Jesus is one of the members of the Trinity God. Jesus always identifies Him as the Son of God. But it does not the meaning of Human Son, it means as the same as God. It is the same as the Father God. In 1King 20:35, “And a certain man of the sons of the prophets said to his fellow by the word of God, Smite me, I pray you. And the man refused to smite him.”. The Sons of the prophet mean that he also the prophet. They are equal and the same. So it means the same position of Father. What have Jesus said in John 10:30, “I and the Father and we are one”. So as John 10:30, Father and Son are  100% same. 

He has come to this world to fulfill prophesy of Genesis 3:15, “And I will put enmity between you and the woman, and between your seed and her seed: he shall bruise your head, and you shall bruise his heel”. As Luke 4:43, “But he said to them, "I must preach the kingdom of God to the other towns also, because on that basis I was sent”, Son God has come to the world to tell the people the purpose of creation and the identity of the Jesus Christ. Jesus said He will die, He is the savior, He will resurrect because He is the Lord of resurrection.

He is the coming King. Jesus controls all creatures. Jesus manages everything having the authority from Father God and by the help of the Holy Spirit God. As Matthew 28:18, Jesus has given the authority and power by Father God. For this reason, Jesus is the King of King’s. An actual top leader who has a relationship with creatures is Jesus. He is our Top King. So we call Him the King of Kings. We do not call Father God the King of King. So Jesus has the authority and power on the Kingdom of God and on the Kingdom of Heavens. Though Father and Holy Spirit are our Lord but in our daily life, Jesus will associate with us. So our master is Jesus Christ because He had died on the cross for us for our salvation. Out of the Trinity God, Jesus died for us. Father and Holy Spirit had the pain for this death, but Jesus had the actual physical pain. As a result, our actual savior is Jesus Christ. The saving job was planned by the Trinity God. They all participated in the salvation plan. But Jesus actually died for us for our salvation. Thus though Father and Holy Spirit God has the power and authority, but especially Jesus has given the authority and power by Father God.

He will come again as He is the Lord of Second coming. He will judge as He is the Lord of judgment. Also He is the creator. As Revelation 21:1-7, “And I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and first earth had vanished away, and the sea does not exist anymore. And I saw the Holy City, the New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride made beautiful for her husband. And I heard a great voice from the throne saying, "Behold, God's tent is with humanity. And He shall dwell with them, and they shall be his people, and he shall be their God; and he shall wipe away every tear from their eyes. And death shall no longer exist, neither sadness, nor crying, nor pain, shall exist anymore. The former things have passed away." And the One sitting on the throne said, "Behold, I am making all things anew." And he says, "Write, These words are trustworthy and true." And he said to me, "They are accomplished. I am the Alpha and the Omega, the beginning and the end. To him who is thirsty I will give freely from the spring of the water of life. He who overcomes will inherit these things, and I will be to him his God and he will be to me a son”. Jesus will reign eternally and be the King of Kings, not the Father or Holy Spirit God.

As Jesus is the King of King’s, in the Kingdom of God there will be many kings who are governing stars and Jesus is the King of all those kings. Governing many authority over the creatures and maybe a multiple numbers of stars. Out of them, Jesus is the top King. Bible had never said Holy Spirit or Father is the King of Kings. Because Father God along with the Holy Spirit God had given the authority and power to Jesus. So we will directly associate with Jesus Christ at Heaven. So we call him our Lord. As 1 Timothy 6:15, “Which in his times He shall show, who is the blessed and only Potentate, the King of kings, and Lord of lords” also as Revelation 19:16, “And he has a name written on his robe and on his thigh: King of Kings and Lord of lords”, He is the King of King’s and the Lord of Lord’s. Colossians 1:26, “Even the mystery which has been hidden from ages and from generations, but is now made manifest to his saints”, as Revelation 5:13, “And every creature that was in heaven, and on the earth, and under the earth, and in the sea, and all the things that were in them, I heard saying, "Blessing and honor, glory and power, be to Him who sits on the throne, and to the Lamb, forever and ever!”. So after created all things He will rule all things. Jesus has been ruling over the Kingdom of God as the King of King’s.

Thus in our praising, we actually have to praise Jesus. Also, there have many names of Jesus according to His work. We have to interpret the context and contents of that name. Context means the situation. In the beginning, in Genesis 2:4, “These are the generations of the heaven and of the earth, when they were created, in the day that Jehovah God made earth and heaven”, this is the first time used Jehovah or Lord God. The actual Hebrew word means Jehovah God. Jehovah in Hebrew calls Lord. But Jews people could not pronounce or allowed to pronounce Lord as the name is very Holy. So they wrote YAWEH without a verb. Then they make it short without vowel only consonant, YWH. Even today in Jerusalem, in western wall reading Holy Scripture, they bow in their reading they do that. The Hebrew people translate this YAWEH to ADONAI which means Master. Greek People translated this ADONAI in New Testament is KURIOS. That’s a Greek name that has the same meaning Master. My KURIOS, this Master translated in NIV Bible Lord. In the New Testament it is used only The Lord in English or used KURIOS in Greek, and in Old Testament used Jehovah or Lord, Jehovah which means ‘combatant the legal contract or promises making by God’. The combatant of Jesus is that He will die on the cross for our eternal life. Thus by this name, we can smell the blood of Jesus. Also, He calls in Jehovah God means ‘Creator God’ who died for us on cross. It is also a humble name. It expresses the love of God. His name as Jehovah Jireh means ‘provider’ who provides our daily needs. Jehovah Shalom means ‘Peace’, Jehovah Raffia means ‘Heller’, Jehovah Nisi means ‘victory’. Nisi means Glory. As Isaiah 7:14, it said the name of Jesus is Emmanuel which means ‘God is with us’. Those entire names have been giving His identity to us.

 

 

 

End Times- Before Jesus Come

On the Mount of Olive Jesus was asked by His disciples what about the end time sign before His coming. As Matthew 24:3, “Then as He was sitting on the Mount of Olives, his disciples came to him privately, saying, "Tell us, when will these things happen, and what will be the sign of your coming, and of the end of the age?" Jesus gave some sign that will tell that His second coming is near_

The sign of Jesus second coming is related with the temple of Jerusalem and the nation of Israel. Jesus prophesies at Matthew 24:32-35, “Now learn this parable from the fig tree: when its branch becomes tender and it puts forth leaves, you know that summer is near. In the same way you also, when you see all these things, you know that the time is near, right at the door. Truly I tell you: this age will by no means pass away until all these things have taken place. Sky and earth will pass away, but my words will certainly not pass away until all these things have happened”. That the nation of Israel will be restored, this will be the sign of His second coming. It had been happened at May14, 1948. At that day the prophecy was fulfilled.

The second prophecy is related to temple will rebuild, at BC-500, Denial 9:27, “He will confirm a covenant with many for one 'seven.' In the middle of the 'seven' he will put an end to sacrifice and offering. And on a wing of the temple he will set up an abomination that causes desolation, until the end that is decreed is poured out on him”. Jesus himself told His disciples, at Mathew 24:15, “So when you see standing in the holy place 'the abomination that causes desolation,' spoken of through the prophet Daniel-let the reader understand). Also Saint Paul told by Jesus at 2Thessalonians 2:1-4, “⁴He will oppose and will exalt himself over everything that is called God or is worshiped, so that he sets himself up in God's temple, proclaiming himself to be God”. So, three people Denial, Paul and Jesus himself told that the temple will be rebuilt and is the sign of second coming of Jesus Christ there will conduct the abomination that causes desolation. They call it dirty worship by all leaders for the religious pluralism. The land was planning to be for the Israelite. But God revoke some of the Promised Land to the un-Godly people from the children of Him. This is the sign of end time. But after the creation of philistines as a nation the temple of Jerusalem will be built. And the Anti-Christ will worship God with the philistine. That will be used by the Roma Pop, Greek Orthodox, Buddhist Monks, Jouster (Iranian) Monks, Hindu priests and Islam Khalip. This is the sign of second coming of Jesus. Everything is happening as God’s plan. So we all have to evangelize to as many as possible.

Talking of ‘peace and safety’ also is a sign of the last days. It’s in the Bible as, 1Thessalonians 5:2-3, “For you know very well that the day of the Lord will come like a thief in the night. While people are saying, ‘Peace and safety,' destruction will come on them suddenly, as labor pains on a pregnant woman, and they will not escape”. Now days it is one of the most common issue that talking about. All religious leader even Vatican Pope also talking about this issue (religious pluralism).

Also trials and false teaching will mislead God’s children, as Matthew 24:9-15, “At that time they will deliver you over to trial, and you will be hated by all nations because of my name. And then many will be scandalized, and others will betray and hate each other; and many false prophets shall arise, and lead many astray. And because of the increase of lawlessness, the love of many will grow cold. But the person who remains to the end, that one will be rescued. And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole inhabited earth, for a witness to all nations, and then the end will come.” 

Today’s Christianity is in danger as the heresy teaching took place in our Christian community. Now a day many churches and bible schools are not preaching or teaching the solid Christology. As a result majority of the Christian people are not well informed about the deity and humanity of Jesus Christ. Growing number of heretic denominations are forming across the world. The great number of theologian and pastors are teaching religious pluralism, denying the deity of Jesus Christ. Some of them also acknowledge the deity of Jesus Christ but not in the full scale. They only understand the partial deity of Jesus Christ. There has been the major debate in the Trinity about the issue of Jesus Christ doing the church in the church history. Also the Christology became the major topic to divide the denomination and hates each other. Jesus told His disciples, rejection of Jesus Christ will be the end time sign and second coming of Jesus Christ.

There have some other biblical references that given bellow of the end time sign_

As Luke 21:25-26, “There will be signs in the sun, moon, and stars. On the earth, nations will be in anguish and perplexity at the roaring and tossing of the sea. Men will faint from terror, apprehensive of what is coming on the world, for the heavenly bodies will be shaken”.

Christ's and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and miracles. As Matthew 24:4-6, “And in answer Jesus said to them, "See that no one misleads you. For many will come in my name, saying, 'I am the Christ,' and they will deceive many.” And as Matthew 24:23-25, “At that time, if anyone says to you, 'Behold, here is the Messiah,' or "There is the Messiah,' do not believe it. For there shall arise many false prophets, and they will perform great signs and miracles, so as to deceive if possible, even the elect. See, I have told you ahead of time”.

There will be wars, though they may seem overwhelming, it is not the end. It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:6, “You will hear of wars and rumors of wars, but see to it that you are not alarmed. Such things must happen, but the end is still to come”. That is happening now a day’s whole of the world.

Earthquakes and famines, and all the signs are only the contractions of what's coming. It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:7-8, “There will be famines and earthquakes in various places. All these are the beginning of birth pains”. It is also one of the major world issues.

The coming of the Antichrist is a sign of the end. It's in the Bible, I John 2:18,  “Little children, it is the last hour; and as you have heard that the Antichrist is coming, even now many antichrists have come, by which we know that it is the last hour”.

What moral conditions will be characteristic of society in the last days? It's in the Bible, 2Timothy 3:1-5, “But mark this: There will be terrible times in the last days. People will be lovers of themselves, lovers of money, boastful, proud, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, without love, unforgiving, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not lovers of the good, treacherous, rash, conceited, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God—having a form of godliness but denying its power. Have nothing to do with them”. All the satanic character will be raise in human life.

The gospel will go to the whole world and the end will come. It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom will be preached in the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come”.

 

What are people to do when they see these things taking place? 

It's in the Bible, Matthew 24:42-44, “So be prepared, for you don't know what day your Lord is coming. Just as a man can prevent trouble from thieves by keeping watch for them, so you can avoid trouble by always being ready for My unannounced return”.  Also as Luke 21: 28, “Now when these things begin to happen, look up and lift up your heads, because your redemption draws near.” Jesus told us to be prepared for the end time is near. 

 

John 3:16 - Summary

 

It serves as the statement of our faith. John 3:16 is a widely quoted Bible verse that summarizes the cornerstone of we Christian belief our Creator God sand His only begotten Son for the salvation of all race. God sacrificed his son, Jesus, for the sins of humanity, and if anyone believes in this that He shaded His blood for all mankind to save from our sin, will be saved. To be saved one needs to be born-again.

This is the core of Christianity that, God loved the world enough to come as Jesus in this world to die for us, so that anyone who trusts (His blood shading) in Him will be saved from sin. This is certainly the most well-known verse in the Bible. It is probably the best-known and most-memorized part of any holy text in human history. The verse is a one-sentence summary of the gospel as well as the subject line of the entire Bible.

 

John 3:16 also reflects another important aspect of the gospel, the essential idea is extremely clear, but there are coats of meaning and knowledge inside of it.

The opening phrase is usually translated as "God so loved the world that…" and is typical means that, "God loved the world so much that…" There is nothing incorrect about that idea, but the actual phrase means "God loved the world in this way," with emphasis on what God has done, more than why. Jesus is an expression of God's indescribable love for "the world," meaning all of mankind (1 John 4:9–10).

 

It is interpreted as "One and Only Son," or "only begotten Son" which uses the Greek word monogenes. While the English term "begotten" often makes people think of biology. But Greek word monogenes does not imply it. The word literally means something of the exact same. In other words, the Son is of exactly the same nature as God the Father. This makes John 3:16 an important part of proving the biblical concept of the Trinity. Who believes in Christ is "eternal," which came from a Greek word that meaning "never ending."

 

Alternatively, life without Christ is destruction or to "perish." Verse 16 and 17 explain that the purpose of sending Jesus was our salvation, but verse 18 reminds us that those who don't believe are condemned. There is no question that, according to the Bible, people can be saved only through faith in Jesus.
