Angels

 

The Kingdom of God is fully happy society. God created Heavens and earth and as well as the Angels. As Job 38:4-7, “Where were you when I laid the foundations of the earth? Declare, if you have understanding. Who determined the measures thereof, if you know? Or who stretched the line upon it? Where upon were the foundations thereof fastened? Or who laid the corner-stone thereof, When the morning stars sang together, and all the sons of God shouted for joy?”

 

Structure of Angel: Angels do not have any physical body. Instead they have only soul (mantle part) and spirit (emotional part). As a result they can travel universe in a blink of eye. But for us as for the physical shape we have to go physically. Thus they look super natural to us. As bible said they are deployed to serve us.     

 

Characteristics of the Angels:  By studying bible we can found the following characteristics of angels _

 

·        They have knowledge, wisdom, and understanding. So they do not like robot.

·        They have emotion, feelings, respecting, honoring. They can laugh or cry, doing team work.

·        They have right of their free will and can make their own decision (such as Lucifer) and took the responsibility.

 

Functions of Angelic Society: References taking from bible, we found that there have many functions such as serving, helping massaging, guarding, guiding praising, etc. of the angels. The angels have three departments that call Administrating Department (Chief is Gabriel), Praising Department (Chief is Lucifer) and Military Department (Chief is Micah).

 

The Hierarchical of Angelic Society: There have 9 levels of Angels - Cherubim, Seraphim, Michael, Gabriel, Thrones, Dominions, Rulers, Authorities and General or Civilian Angels. This is the Angelic Classes.

 

    I.      Cherub (im): It is the highest class of angelic society. They are very close to God. God also deploy Cherub in the gate of Garden of Eden. As Ezekiel 28:14a, “You were anointed as a guardian Cherub.” The highest cherub is Lucifer where Lucy means light/illumination. He is very good looking and light bearer person and was anointed as a guardian.

 II.      Seraph (im): The highest of seraphim is Seraph. They also live near God. They have six wings (Isaiah 6:1-7). Sometimes they look like lion, sometimes ox, sometimes like man or sometimes like eagle. We can see it at Revelation 4:6-7.

III.      Michael: The highest class to protective work of angel is Michael (Example: Then Michael, one of the chief princes came to help me. Because I was detained there with the king of Persia. Daniel 10:13b). It is the society of guarding, defending and security purpose angels.

IV.      Gabriel: The highest class to messenger of angel is Gabriel (Luke 1:26-27). His job is like messenger. He keeps public relations, announcement and postal services.

 

Paul says as Colossians 1:16, “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers- all things were created by him, and for him”. So God created angels and there have four other angels who are Satan. Out of the 9 classes of the angelic society, one third of them (Cherubim, Seraphim, Michael and Gabriel) got fallen and they changed their name. One third of their name became Thrones, Dominions, Rulers, Authorities as well as they became the Power and world forces. Now we have our battle against them. For this against them we need to be full armor with mighty power of God. We can found in the book of Ephesians 6:12. There written, “For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the authorities, against the powers of this dark world and against the spiritual forces of evil in the heavenly realms”.

 

As this verse the bad angels are as follows _

 

   I.             

   II.             

   III.             

   IV.             

   V.            Rulers of the dark world – This angelic society is Thrones society

VI.            Authorities of the dark world – This angelic society is Dominions society.

VII.            Powers of dark world – This angelic society is the Rulers society.

VIII.            Spiritual forces of evil – This angelic society is Authority’s society.

IX.            General Angels: There also have some low class general working angels. As Mark 1:12, “At once the Spirit sent him out into the desert and he was in the desert forty days, being tempted by Satan. He was with the wild animals and angels attended him”. This society has call the General civilian society of angels.

 

As a result we can see total nine angelic societies in bible. Also we will found us in future in the class society and we will be one of the classes.

 

Protective Work of Angel: As Hebrews 1:10, “Are not all angels ministering spirits sent to serve those who will inherit salvation?” The responsibilities of protective angels are to protect the children of God form all evils as well as counseling. The archangel of this department is Michael. But there have condition to be protected by him. Not all believers even protected by Michael. Only who have the following nature in their Kardia can receive the blessing of protective angel’s support.

 

·        Those who has fear of God (Psalm 34:7).

·        Those who lives in the shelter of Jesus (Psalm 91:9-11)

 

As Psalm 34:7, “The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him and he delivers them”, those who fear God, the angels will protect them from all evil and will have lack of nothing. One angel always encamps around him. In this verse we see Fear means what? It means respect, honor, and praise of Him. A person who can depend on His greatness and on His power. Those who are humble (means who knows cannot do anything without Him) in front of God.

 

In Psalm 91:9-11, “If you make the Most High your dwelling, even the Lord, who is my refuge, then no harm will be fall you, no disaster will come near your tent. For he will command his angels concerning you to guard you in all your ways.” Now we can see if anyone dwelling with Most High (The God) and with Lord (Jesus), no disaster will come near them. Because He will command his angels to guard them in all their ways.  Dwelling in Him means talk to him with fellowship and with prayer. The spiritual fruit will come from his tent and the energy and nutrition will be received. As a result day by day our character will be changed like Jesus. Peace and joy will be in our life. In our behavior faithfulness, kindness, gentleness, patience, self-control and holiness will be shown.

 

Angel is different form God’s children. They look stronger than us. But in real we are stronger than them as we are the children of God. Angels do not have the right of inheritance whereas God’s children (human) have the right of inheritance as we are the son of God (Example: Because those who are led by the Spirit of God are sons of God. Romans 8:14). We are master to them they are servant to us. We are higher than the angels. Angel was created as Hebrews 1:14, “Are they not all ministering spirits, sent forth to minister for them who shall be heirs of salvation?”, Revelation 2:8-9, “And to the angel of the church in Smyrna, write: 'These things says the First and the Last, who was dead and came alive again: 'I know your affliction and your poverty (but you are rich) and the blasphemy of those claiming to be Jews and are not but are a synagogue of Satan”, they are for to serve God’s children. So they are our servant.

 

The Guardian Angel: To understand guardian angel first we have to understand the trinity of God. Trinity God consists of three persons The Father God, The Son God, and The Holy Spirit God. Our guardian angel is our trinity God. With the shelter of Jesus, by thrown prayer we can receive the guardian angels. From Psalm 91:1-2, we can learn that, by dwelling in the shelter of God and with Jesus Christ, one can rest in the shadow of almighty as He is guardian angel. If we have pure heart we can go into the Throne. The Holy Spirit should burn our Kardia to make it pure. We need to develop Jesus like character. We need a desire of pure heart not a clean heart. It will not come easily. We have to refine our heart by fire of holy spirit, 1Peter 1:7, “These have come so that your faith of greater worth than gold, which perishes even though refined by fire, may be proved genuine and may result in praise, glory and honor when Jesus Christ is revealed.”

 

To do such a high level of spiritual growth we have to_

·        Praising God as Holy Spirit enters in the heart.

·        Bring the fire of Holy Spirit and burn deep inside the heart and clean it.

·        Hold the word of God as it the double edge sword to cut down the dirty characters inside heart.

 

Praying like it with regular practice, one can achieve the spirit of God and can enjoy the Tabernacle Worship.

 

Offensive (attaching) Angel: The angels who stand against the devils on behalf of God’s children is call the offensive angel. From the Old Testament we can see that how God saved his people deploying the offensive angels. From the life of Noah, Abraham, Moses, David, Elisa, Denial and others, we can see the example of use offensive angels. 

 

Why Angels have right to use free will? God loves his creation. He loves to exchange his feelings with us. He loves to see us that we praise of him from our own satisfaction from our free will, not looking as his bindings. He wishes our worship with Him, fellowship with Him, dwelling with Him from our free will of Kardia. He finds joy in it. Otherwise, we will be like robotic figure which will not enjoyable by God. So he created angels giving their free will of work.

 

Danger in such creation: It was in risk when to give free will to angels. But God liked to take the risk. Having fellowship with His creation He found joy. Birds, animals or even trees (all creation) praise God. God also talk with us through them. Such as by tsunami He aware us that He is almighty and we have to follow his words.
