Purpose of Creation

 

When God created all creatures including angels He had given them the Purpose of Creation as Isaiah 43: 7, 21, “⁷ Every one that is called by my name, and whom I have created for my glory, whom I have formed, yes, whom I have made. ²¹ The people which I formed for myself, that they might set forth my praise”, God had created us for His Glory, for nothing but has to give glory to the Creator God. Our first job is to Worship, Honor and Glorify Him. That is the purpose of creation.

 

There are two kinds of Christian General Christian and Special Christian. Special Christians are His disciples follow this synchronization. He asked us that who is our idol - our family, our self or Jesus (Luke 14:25-35). For General Christians as Ephesians 5:22, “Wives, submit yourselves to your own husbands, as unto the Lord”, as well as Ephesians 6:4, “And, you fathers, provoke not your children to wrath: but bring them up in the nurture and admonition of the Lord”. He said totally opposite of Luke. This is for the nominal, regular or general Christians.

 

Paul said by the teaching of Holy Spirit, all creatures created by Jesus and for Jesus. As Colossians 1:16-18, “For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers- all things were created by him, and for Him And He is before all things, and by Him all things consist. And He is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence. For it pleased the Father that in Him should all fullness dwell”, all creatures has created to Glorify God. If we have many idols in our life like, worship Money, power, that is not permissible and acceptable. We have to follow the sequential commandment or order. If we do anything for make our own ambition and as our ministry Lord Jesus will not accept it as His disciple. Even in church growth, the ambitious for their churches grow, having more members, more tides, big building all these is all about the business. This is not the seeking Kingdom of God. As Matthew 6:33, “But pursue first rather the kingdom of God and his righteousness, and all those things will be included for you as well”, Seeking the kingdom of God and his richness have to come first. Then Jesus will take care of all other things.

 

We have to observe Jesus character, His motivation and personality. If we want to do anything for our recognition, to receive peoples praise then we will be on wrong boat. God Jesus said us to do for Him first, not for our self interest first. Also as Romans 9:5, “Whose are the fathers, and of whom as concerning the flesh Christ came, who is over all, God blessed forever. Amen”. We creatures should acknowledge our God and acknowledge ‘His identity’ and meditate ‘His identity’. We should identify who our God is! It just not raises hand and says I glorify you God. It goes far beyond that. That is not for information gathering but for the spiritual growth.

 

1. First, we will say our God you are creator God, we identify and meditate and then God will be happy. Our God is the loving God. Our God is Trinity God.

2. Second element is to identify our self. Say God I am a creature, I am in your hand. My life and death is in your hand. We should be humble like that, and then we can glorify God.

3. The Third element is to say, God I wish to obey your great commandment and you great commission.

 

We have created to praise, honor and worship Jesus, nothing else. That is the purpose of creation. This is to glorify Jesus. We have to love Trinity God first keep the horizontal love relationship. Then we have to keep the vertical love relationship. The Jealousy God want we first love God before anything else. All this is to glorify Jesus. Without this He will not accept our prayer.

 

We have to obey the grate commandment. This is the first and greatest commandment. It said in Matthew 22:37-38, “And He told him, 'You shall love Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength.' This is the greatest and primary commandment”. The second greatest commandment is from Matthew 22:39-40, “And the second one is like it: 'You shall love your neighbor as yourself.' On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets”. This is the vertical love relationship.

 

And after that Jesus has been given the Grate Commission. Great commission means go out and tell people the purpose of creation His love and Salvation. As Acts 1:8, “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes upon you, and you will be my witnesses, both in Jerusalem and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the farthest part of the earth”. We have to go to the tribes to teach them this. We should know what we teach in the great commission. What would be our primary teaching? Purpose of creation in all the way - who God is!

 

If we do this God will give us special blessings. So creatures will enjoy blessing from God as they fulfill the Purpose of Creation. We can enjoy happiness and satisfactions up on fulfill the purpose of creation.
