Greetings in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ!
It is with great joy and humility that I welcome you to the Church of Glory. By God's grace, I have been blessed with the privilege of serving as the pastor of this wonderful community. As I reflect on my journey, I see the guiding hand of the Lord in every step. From my days as a corporate lawyer to answering His call to ministry, it is clear that God's purpose is perfect and His calling irresistible. As the Apostle Paul writes, “And we know that all things work together for good to those who love God, to those who are the called according to His purpose”, (Romans 8:28, NKJV).
Born and raised in Chittagong, Bangladesh, I had the blessing of growing up in a Christian family and attending Shagorika Baptist Church, a member of the ABWE. From an early age, I was immersed in the teachings of the Bible, attending Sunday school, participating in AWANA, and engaging in various church activities. I was honored to receive the AWANA 'Timothy' Award, a testament to God's work in my life. As I matured, God led me to further theological studies, culminating in a Doctorate in Missiology. Through it all, my heart has always been anchored in Christ's great commission: “Go therefore and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all things that I have commanded you” (Matthew 28:19-20).
Today, as pastor of Church of Glory, I am committed to serving our Lord by leading our congregation in fulfilling the great commandment and the great commission. Our ministries are designed to glorify God through outreach, education, and support for those in need. We believe that by reaching out with love and purpose, we fulfill the command of Christ to be His hands and feet in this world. The Apostle James reminds us that, “faith by itself, if it does not have works, is dead” (James 2:17), and it is this faith in action that drives our church’s mission.
As a church, we have various ministries dedicated to spreading the gospel and serving those in need. Our outreach programs, educational initiatives, emergency medical support, and theology courses all have one central aim: to reflect the love and grace of Jesus Christ to the world. The Lord’s call on my life is to shepherd His people, and I do so with the knowledge that I am merely a vessel for His divine purpose. “I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me” (Philippians 4:13).
May God's blessings abound in your life as you walk in His grace. Let us continue to seek Him together, growing in love, faith, and service to His kingdom.
