Holy Spirit God

Holy Spirit God is one personality of Trinity God having few names such as, Spirit of God, Spirit of Christ, Spirit of your Father, Holy Spirit. It also has two different functions-

A. Saving Spirit, in Greek it calls PNEUMA.

B. Ministering/Counselor, in Greek it calls PARACLAITOS.

If someone believes on Jesus Christ that He came and sacrificed his life on cross for ones’ sin, and his blood washed away our sin then the PNEUMA, in the other word the saving Holy Spirit comes upon them. By receiving Pneuma one becomes a child of GOD. This Pneuma has a saving function, it has sanctifying function. When we receive Jesus then we become Christina. Because of Pneuma the spirit of Jesus and the spirit of Father God abide us. In another word, when we receive or invite Jesus in us we invite His spirit in our hurt.

As Romans 8:9,“But you are not in the flesh, but in the Spirit, if so be that the Spirit of God dwell in you. Now if any man have not the Spirit of Christ, he is none of His”. Also as Romans 8:11, “But if the Spirit of him that raised up Jesus from the dead dwell in you, he that raised up Christ from the dead shall also give life to your mortal bodies by his Spirit that dwells in you”.

There is another Holy Spirit that functions differently the ministering Holy Spirit which is calling PARACLETOS. PARA means ‘working along me’ and it works outside of us, CLETOS is ‘being invited’. All this combined together, Spirit outside of me that wants to invite by us. Paraclaitos flow inside the innermost part of mind to give eternal power. We have to ask him to come upon me. In English Paracletos translated in many name. Some says Comforter, Helper, Advocator; some said the Teacher, the councilor. All these names are referring to Paracletos. We have to able to differentiate these names. Both spirits are same in quality but different in their work. In Greek this is call ALLOS.

On the day of last supper, Jesus promised to his disciples to give Paraclaitos to help, guide or council them (John 14:16, “And I will ask the Father, and he will give you another Counselor, that he may be ever with you”). It was Thursday evening as Jews time it was Friday beginning. He said,‟ I will ask Father and he will sent the ALLOS”. Friday He was crucified. Saturday was Sabbath. Sunday (third day) He rose to life. This is the day when the believers (such as his disciples) entered in to the kingdom of God. After 50 days of His raise it was the time of Pentecost. When Jesus left He promised to His apostles that within few days you will receive Paraclaitus the ALLOS. For 10 days the apostles cried for ALLOS and for their humble prayer certification happened. Their Kardia become clean day by day and ready to receive Paraclaitus.

In the day of Pentecost they were filled with it. They were baptized with Holy Spirit. Act 2:2-3, (Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. They saw what seemed to be tongues of fire that separated and came to rest on each of them), we can see that the Holy Spirit may come like Fire or Wind, like Dove or like Light.

Also we need Paracletos for spiritual fighting. In the Bible there are at list 4 ways of entering Paracletos.

1. As Acts 2:2-4, it comes like wind and fire,

2. As Matthew 3:16, it comes like Dove,

3. As Acts 9:3-4, it comes in the form of Light, and

4. As John 7:38-39, it works inside like streams water.

This is Pneuma that works inside of us as the fountain and generating water and washing away the bitter root. Hebrew 12:15, “Looking diligently lest any man fail of the grace of God; lest any root of bitterness springing up trouble you, and thereby many be defiled”. Jealousy, wrath, anger, slandering, unforgiving, ungraceful, these are bitter root of our heart. The Holy Spirit in us not only providing the eternal life but also purifies the bitter root of our heart. Every day we have to meditate for this fountain the Pneuma.

We have to pray to cleanse our bitter root in our mind. As we do this, in Romans 8:26, “Likewise the Spirit also helps us in our weakness: for we know not what we should pray for as we ought: but the Spirit itself makes intercession for us with groaning which cannot be uttered”, Pneuma inside of us will grow and remove our weakness. As we have regular relation it will slowly-slowly clean. The prayer should be generate from the bottom of our heart. Then He will send us the wind, fire and light. Fire will burn and the asses will weep out through the wind. As we pressing, worshipping this Paracletos will enter in me. We can visualize that. We can anticipate that. When we receive Paracletos, sometimes we shake, sometimes we fell on the floor, sometime speak tongue, sometimes laughing. To make it strong and to receive the power of God we have to culture praising the Lord with songs and instruments to warm up us with Holy Spirit. First we have to warm up with Psuke and then, when can go to our pray. We can be a strong Christian believer and will have crown in heaven by practicing these regularly.

As Proverbs 4:23, “Above all else, guard your heart, for it is the wellspring of life” and as John 7:38 “Whoever believes in me as the Scripture has said, streams of living water will flow from within him”. Hear streams of living water or wellspring is the symbol of the Holy Spirit. The Word of God is the most powerful weapon. Through the word of God the Kardia will flow through these streams of living water to remove the bitter root and it have two functions_

a. Nutrition – It is the spiritual food, as we meditate and swallow the word of God the nutrition go through our body.

b. Double Edged Sword – It is offensive function, Ephesians 6:17, Word of God has the double edged sword functions that cut up and dig down in the root and remove the dirty character of us.
