Our Journey of Faith: Church of Glory

In January 2017, by the divine leading of the Holy Spirit, God planted a seed of hope in the hearts of two faithful servants—Pastor Palash D Costa and Pastor Atul Manda. With a shared vision to reach the unreached, inspire believers to walk like Christ, and be good stewards of God’s creation, Church of Glory began its humble journey as a Baptist church.

This was not just the beginning of a church—it was the birth of a movement, a family of faith where love meets action.

A Vision Beyond Walls

The vision of Church of Glory goes beyond Sunday gatherings. From the very beginning, our calling has been to go where others do not go, and to love those who feel forgotten. That is why we launched a variety of ministries with one heartbeat: to make Christ known.

1. Training for Transformation

We believe every believer is a disciple, and every disciple is a light in the darkness. To equip the saints, we have developed training programs focused on the Word of God, discipleship, and practical Christian living. These sessions help believers grow in faith, understand their calling, and live like Christ in their daily lives.

2. Outreach to the Unreached

In obedience to the Great Commission, our outreach team travels to hill tracts and remote villages, especially where no church yet exists. With prayerful planning, each visit is carefully scheduled with a clear goal and loving purpose.

Our dedicated team brings with them Gospel tracts, the message of salvation, and the light of Jesus, sometimes even showing the Jesus Film when the opportunity arises. Whether in a home, a field, or under a tree, the Gospel is proclaimed with love and respect.

3. Special Support for New!

Many who come to Christ in difficult areas face persecution and rejection. Understanding their struggles, we offer a special loan support program to help new believers start small businesses and rebuild their lives with dignity.

In moments of urgent need, we also try to offer temporary financial aid to those who have lost jobs or are in crisis. Though we are not a large church, the generosity of our members makes all things possible. Their faithful giving reflects the heart of Christ—caring for one another in love.

4. Our Worship Gatherings

Every Sunday at 7 PM, we come together to worship the Lord in spirit and truth. These gatherings are filled with prayer, worship, teaching of the Word, and deep fellowship. Whether you are a seeker, a believer, or someone just passing by, you are welcome to visit, to rest, to rejoice, or to simply watch and wonder at what God is doing.

5. Join Us in Prayer and Praise

We know that not everyone is called to go, give, or serve in the same way. But if your heart is stirred by what you read—rejoice with us. Praise God for the lives He is changing. Celebrate the work He is doing through ordinary people with extraordinary faith.

We do not seek applause—we seek prayers.
We do not seek crowds—we seek connection with hearts who love God’s mission.

If you feel led to support, we welcome it with gratitude. But even if not, your prayer, your encouragement, and your appreciation of God’s work is already a blessing to us.

Our Servant-Hearted Leadership

Behind every growing ministry is a team of faithful people who serve not for recognition, but for the glory of God. At Church of Glory, we are blessed with a humble and committed leadership team who walk by faith and serve with love.

Each member of our committee brings a unique gift to the ministry—working together with one heart and one purpose: to build up the Body of Christ and extend His Kingdom to the unreached.

Here are the dedicated individuals God has called to lead and guide our church:

• Pastor – Mr. Palash D Costa
  A man of vision and deep faith, Pastor Palash is one of the founding leaders of our church. His heart burns to reach the lost, to teach the truth of Scripture, and to shepherd God’s people with compassion and wisdom.

• Advisor – Mr. Shirajul Islam
  With years of spiritual experience and mature counsel, Mr. Shirajul serves as a trusted advisor to the church leadership, offering guidance rooted in prayer, Scripture, and love.

  
  

• Training & Operation – Mr. Probin Mark
  Mr. Probin plays a key role in organizing training programs and managing outreach operations. His dedication ensures that every mission effort is thoughtfully planned and faithfully carried out.

• Finance & Accounts – Mrs. Shiuli Roy
  A woman of faith and full dedication, Mrs. Shiuli Roy serves in the area of finance with honesty and prayer. Her service is not just administrative—it is an offering of love for the Kingdom of God.

Together, they represent more than roles or responsibilities—they are servants of Christ, faithfully doing their part in the vineyard of the Lord. Please continue to keep them in your prayers as they guide the Church of Glory in this divine mission.
